David Rawlings Berkeley Concert reviews
Keith Urban
"I thought this concert was actually a little boring. However, maybe I have been spoiled in the past as I go to a lot of country concerts. For me, David Rawlings's opener Dan + Shay was the best part of the show. They got the audience up out of their seats and had them all jazzed and ready to go for David. However, then Phillip Phillips came on and I hit the tired wall. I believe he was a good voice but with what seemed like a 20-minute guitar solo for each song, I completely forgot about the songs and would zone out. By the time David Rawlings came on, I was just kind of done. David did a good job but I could never get back the level of energy that I had at the beginning of the concert. Maybe if they change around the line-up so it's Phillip Phillips, Dan + Shay, then David, I would have found it more entertaining."
